What to do?

As much, or as little as you want to!

But, relax, you are on vacation.

Watch the world go by from one of the decks overlooking the water or from around the private pool. Don't forget to keep alook out for a manatee, a dolphin and other wildlife.

Take a dip in your own private pool, have a chaise lounger in one of the seating areas, dine out........

If you would like a little more activity, take a rented kayak onto the sheltered bay and back waters as you commence your own search for a manatee or dolphin. Soak up the peace and tranquility, or just glimpse some of the neighbors' homes.

Take a stroll around - enjoy the beaches, Bean Point, the piers, the shops, the restaurants and the parks.

For the more active: beaches, the Gulf, the Bay, cycling, tennis, golf, sailing, boat charter, fishing are all within a short distance.

For interest there are museums, wildlife sanctuaries, galleries, theatres, state parks and a host of attractions to meet all tastes and requirements.

But don't forget the beaches!

Hire a boat and take a trip to Egmont Key - see the wildlife, meet one of the Tortoise, soak in the atmosphere.

Or, you could take out the car..........

Travel to Tampa and Busch Gardens which are a little over an hour away. Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and all the attractions of Orlando can be reached in around two hours.Another hour or so and you can be at Cape Canaveral for the Kennedy Space Center.

Nearer are St Petersburg, Sarasota, Venice, Fort Myers, and The Gulf Coast's Islands ........ , but why would you leave lovely Anna Maria and Longboat Key?
